Roselyn Sanchez, a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, model, actress and producer was born April 2nd 1973. Her credits include FBI agent Elena Delgado (2005-2009), Carmen Luna (2013-present), and the Lifetime comedy-drama Devious Maids (2013). In films, Sanchez has appeared in Rush Hour 2 (2001), Boat Trip (2002), The Game Plan (2007), and Act of Valor (2012). In 2001 she shared screen time alongside Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan in the sequel to the "Rush Hour" film series. Chan's character, Chief Inspector Lee is a love interest for the character of Isabella Molina, an undercover agent from the United States Secret Service. She was also in "Rush Hour 3," but her scenes were deleted. In 2002, she was an instructor of dance in the romantic comedy 'Boat Trip'. Sanchez was added to the crew of the CBS police procedural drama "Without a Trace" in the fourth season (2005) of the show, and her character, Special Agent Elena Delgado, quickly became a fan favorite. She was part of the show up until it ended in 2009. She was a co-star with Dwayne Johnson ("The Rock") in the 2007 family comedy film 'The Game Plan. She played Lisa Morales, a CIA officer, in the 2012 action movie "Act of Valor". The film earned $81.3 million worldwide and was a commercial hit despite having a modest budget of $12 million. From 2013 until 2016, she essayed the part of Carmen Luna in Lifetime's comedy-drama and the mystery series "Devious Maids". She currently plays the role of Gigi Mendoza in the ABC drama series 'Grand Hotel' (2019-present). Sanchez also wrote and directed her musical drama in 2006 "Yellow," which she wrote and produced.. Sanchez also directed the 2016 telefilm , 'Death of a Vegas Showgirl'.
