Aaron Jeffery
The Logie
Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. He is
well-known for his role in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and Matt
Fletcher who are both from McLeod's Daughters. Born in Howick, Auckland,
Jeffery relocated to Australia at the age of 17 and began studying acting at
NIDA. After graduating from NIDA and NIDA, he started his TV career with the
children's program Ship to Shore. Jeffery is most famous for his role in
McLeod's Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in the year 2008. He also was
a part of the third season New Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was
also portrayed as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. Filming ended on June 22nd.
Three days later Jeffery was officially announced as Bradley Fox's replacement
on Neighbours for two months. In October, it was announced that Jeffery had
been chosen to play a corrections official in the TV series Wentworth. He also
appeared in the Bevan Lee series Between Two Worlds for the Seven Network. The
show was announced in April 2021 that Jeffery will be appearing in the Netflix
thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is based on the Karin Slaughter novel.
In McLeod's Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular
Drama Series Actor in 2004 and 2007.
