Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her best-known work is her roles as Andy Jensen on the ABC Family series Kyle XY, as Lacy Rand on the short-lived Syfy science fiction drama series Caprica and as Emily (born Maya Hartwell) in the science-fiction series Continuum. Recently, she appeared as Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz is Polish and was a resident of Poland for a period of time in the ninth grade. She lived with her uncle in Poland, and attended Jelenia Gola School. She then went on to pursue a degree at Vancouver Film School. When her brother introduced her to the Pulp Fiction, she became fascinated by acting. She began her acting career with the 2002 film Jeremiah and John Doe. Between 2007 and 2009, she played Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. In 2008, she appeared in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a regular on the TV drama Caprica along with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. Then, she appeared in the show Hellcats. In 2012, she was a guest star in Jane Espenson's second season of her romantic comedy web show, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz was cast as Emily in the show Continuum She also appeared in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. The Green Inferno, although it was produced in 2012, it was released globally in the year the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast to as Angela in Volition the science fiction thriller film. It was released on the 20th of February in 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
